Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) cover your use of Memorize Medicine (the “Platform”), also called Memorize Medical Learning App, run from the Arab Republic of Egypt (“Memorize”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
We are based in Egypt and our students are in Iraq, Egypt and across the Gulf. The same Terms apply wherever you study. Where you are only changes three things: the price and currency you see, the payment methods you can use, and the fact that you are dealing with a business set up in Egypt under Egyptian law (section 13).

1. Who can use Memorize
Memorize is for medical students, residents and clinicians studying for exams and coursework. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Give accurate details when you sign up (name, email, phone number) and keep your password private. Your account is for you only, and you are responsible for everything done with it.
2. Accepting these Terms
You accept these Terms when you create an account, and we record the date. We may change these Terms and the Privacy Policy at any time without notice. Your acceptance covers the current version and any later one. If you keep using the Platform after a change, you accept it. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.
3. Courses, pricing and payment
Courses are sold one by one. There is no subscription. Prices are shown at checkout in your region's currency, and the same course may cost different amounts in different regions.
Payment methods depend on where you are: ZainCash and SuperQi in Iraq, InstaPay in Egypt and the Gulf. Your course's payment page shows the methods and account details for you. Those are the only ones we accept.
You pay by bank or wallet transfer, and we check it from the receipt you upload:
- Transfer the exact amount shown to the account shown, then upload a photo or screenshot of the receipt.
- Upload it within 24 hours of the transfer. Older receipts go to manual review, which takes longer.
- Some receipts are approved automatically. The rest are checked by a person, usually within 24 to 48 hours.
- Uploading a receipt does not enroll you by itself. A receipt that can't be checked may be denied. We'll tell you why, so you can fix it and upload again.
If you pay less than the price, we'll ask you to transfer the difference before we enroll you. If you pay more, we will refund the excess.
Only pay to accounts shown inside the Platform. We are not responsible for money sent to accounts we did not publish.
4. Refunds and cancellations
You can cancel and get a full refund within 7 days of your payment being approved, as long as you stay within the fair use limits below. The 7 days start when we approve your payment and open your access, not when you first open the course.
Fair use
You can't get a refund once you've used a large part of what you bought. You are past fair use if either of these is true:
- You have watched 15% or more of the total video length of what you bought; or
- You have attempted 15% or more of the question bank questions in what you bought.
Either one on its own ends eligibility. They are not added together, and you don't need to cross both.
How we measure it:
- Video. We add up the time you actually watched, counting each lecture once at most, so rewatching a lecture does not count twice. We compare that with the total length of the videos you bought.
- Question bank. We count the different questions you attempted, including ones you opened and then skipped or flagged, against the number available to you.
- Scope. Percentages are measured against what you paid for. If you bought one module, we measure against that module, not the whole course.
- Flashcards, notes and study plans are not counted.
When there is no refund
- After the 7 days.
- Once either fair use limit is crossed.
- For content you used on a free trial. A trial is how you decide before paying, so a course you tried is not refundable once bought.
- If we close an account for breaking section 9 (shared accounts, piracy, fake receipts).
How to ask for a refund
Email [email protected] from your account's email address, within the 7 days, with your transfer number. We check your usage and reply within 24 to 48 hours. If approved, we send back the full amount the same way you paid, and your access to that content ends.
Separately, and whatever the timing: we always refund an overpayment. We may also give a refund at our discretion when it's fair, such as a double payment or content we can't deliver. One discretionary refund does not promise another.
5. Your access to a course
Once the refund window in section 4 has closed, a paid course gives you lifetime access. It won't expire and you won't pay again. “Lifetime” means for as long as the Platform operates and your account is in good standing. It does not promise the Platform will run forever, and it ends if we close your account for breaking section 9.
We improve courses over time. We may edit, replace or remove lectures, questions or materials, so a course may change after you enroll.
6. Free trials, discounts and offers
Free trials, discounts, promo codes and offers are entirely up to us. We decide who qualifies, what they cover and how long they last, and we may change or stop them at any time. A trial gives temporary access only. Your access ends when the trial ends unless you pay for the course.
7. Course content and your licence
All videos, flashcards, question banks, notes and downloads belong to us or to the tutor who made them. You get a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use them for your own study while you are enrolled.
You may not record, screen-capture, download, republish, resell, translate, upload elsewhere or share any part of the content. You may not share your account or course access with anyone. Videos stream instead of downloading to protect the tutors' work.
Notes you write yourself are yours.
8. Devices
A student account can be used on two devices. This stops one paid account being shared by a study group. If you change phone or laptop, contact support and we'll remove the old device. There is no self-service reset, on purpose.
9. Acceptable use
- No sharing accounts, reselling access, or scraping or automating the Platform.
- No uploading content you don't have the right to share, in tickets, messages or receipts.
- No trying to get around payment checks, device limits or course access controls.
- No abusive, harassing or off-topic messages to tutors or support.
- No fake receipts. A forged or reused receipt is fraud, and we will close the account.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms. For serious breaches, such as piracy, account sharing or a fake payment, access ends with no refund.
10. Educational purpose
Memorize is study material for exam preparation. It is not medical advice and does not replace clinical training, supervision or current local guidelines. Never use it to diagnose or treat a patient. Medicine changes. We work to keep content accurate, but we don't promise that every question, explanation or lecture is current or error-free, and we don't guarantee any exam result.
11. Availability
We aim to keep the Platform running but can't promise it will never go down. Maintenance, connection problems, provider outages and events outside our control can all cause downtime. As far as Egyptian law allows, our liability for any claim about the Platform is limited to what you paid us for the course the claim is about.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms: [email protected]. We reply within 24 to 48 hours.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute about them or your use of the Platform goes only to the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt.
If you study from outside Egypt, in Iraq or a Gulf country, this does not remove any right you have under the mandatory consumer protection law of the country you live in. If that law protects you in a way these Terms don't, that protection still applies.
